Through the Sands of Time, our enemies will fall.
Centuries have passed through the kingdom of Egypt and it didn't go without the occasional battle here, rebellion there. But one arrogant Pharaoh thought he could cheat death and become the ultimate ruler of the whole known world. So he commissioned his sorcerers and priests to come up with an elixir that would give him eternal life. But what he didn't know is that they couldn't make what he requested and instead made something much worse. From within the depth of the underworld, they unleashed a great evil upon Egypt.
It could only be seen by some as a large shadow, with an army of undead minions and all it did was consume. It would consume anything in its path, regardless of what you said or much one begged for mercy. The evil creature was soon called Anubis for if it was seen, it could be described as a half man - half jackal. If he was in a good mood, it very well might possess you and force you to work for them. But not only that, the sorcerers had inadvertently opened an unknown portal to various worlds thus bringing new faces into their land. They were given a prophesy of sorts that if these new heroes could work together to get rid of the monster they had brought upon their lands. Which side will you join? The ones wishing to stop it? Or are you with the shadow creature, wishing to cause more destruction and pain?
